What to expect
Step into professional-level training
The PADI Divemaster course is your first step into the professional side of diving. You will build the skills, mindset, and confidence to supervise diving activities, assist PADI Instructors during training, and guide certified divers with more professionalism and control.
Learn far more than just dive skills
This course goes well beyond recreational training. You work through knowledge development, dive theory, standards and procedures, waterskills exercises, and demonstration-quality skill performance. The goal is not only to dive well yourself, but to become the diver others can learn from and rely on.
Train through real practical application
A big part of the Divemaster course is hands-on experience. You will practise professional dive briefings, predive preparation, dive site setup, mapping projects, emergency assistance planning, and real workshop-based training. You also gain practical experience assisting instructors and guiding certified divers under supervision.
Grow into a confident PADI Pro
PADI describes Divemaster as the gateway into pro-level diving, with training that can open the door to leadership roles, professional development, and future instructor training. It is the course for divers who want to turn experience into responsibility and passion into a serious next step.
